Richard MacIsaac is a clinician-researcher who is currently Professor and Director of Endocrinology and Diabetes at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is also the diabetes kidney disease co-stream leader for the Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovations (ACADI), University of Melbourne. A/Prof Glastras is Staff Specialist in Endocrinology at Royal North Shore Hospital, and conjoint Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on diabetes, obesity and pregnancy. She currently chairs her local district Diabetes Clinical Advisory Group and is the Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovations Training Lead.

An experienced research clinician, John is known globally for his breadth of research into obesity and its risks and complications as well as weight loss treatments and their effects on health. He has over 350 original research and review publications. John is focused on reducing weight stigma, improving access care.
