Jade is an Endocrinologist and Obstetric Medicine Physician at The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Queensland. She is a current PhD Candidate with The University of Queensland, exploring pre-pregnancy bariatric surgery and it's impacts on pregnancy and glucose homeostasis.

Ms Robyn Compton

Robyn Compton is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 30 years experience working in the specialty area of diabetes in pregnancy. She commenced her career working as the Dietitian to the Diabetes Unit at Royal Womens Hospital before becoming Dietitian in Charge, then she progressed into private practice. Robyn specializes in providing nutritional education and support to women with diabetes in pregnancy / pre-pregnancy and gestational diabetes. Robyn started an Instagram page during the pandemic to support women with GDM. With over 55,000 followers, gestationaldiabetes_dietitian has offered Robyn further insight into strategies that resonate with women in this space. It has led to being interviewed for several podcasts and live sessions, helping to educate women around the world about evidence based gestational diabetes management.

Biography
Dr Helen Murphy is a Professor of Medicine (Diabetes and Antenatal Care) at the University of East Anglia, and a practicing clinician (Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust). She co-led the CONCEPTT Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) trial, which led to changes in clinical practice. Based on pivotal studies, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the CamAPS FX closed-loop system is licensed for use during T1D pregnancy, endorsed by the 2023 NICE technical appraisal, and is nationally funded for women who are pregnant or planning pregnancy.
Helen also serves as clinical lead for the National Pregnancy in Diabetes (NPID) audit, which directly informs national healthcare policy. Supported by JDRF, Diabetes UK, and the NIHR, her research is changing the management of diabetes in pregnancy.

Biography
Catharine has many years experience as a DE. Her clinical role is at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute supporting people to self-manage their diabetes. Her teaching role is in the Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education at Deakin University. Both roles require skills to mentor and nurture novice educators.
