Jessica, CDE of the Year for 2023 is currently working at Diabetes WA, managing the diabetes education clinics in Perth and the Diabetes Telehealth Service for Country WA. Recently, she has been collaborating with local services to develop innovative models of care to address staffing shortages in regional WA.

Siana Critchett (BNurs, PG Dip Midwifery, GradCert Diabetes, MPhil) is an academic and clinician. She Chairs the Course Advisory Committee for the Grad. Cert Diabetes, recent Chair for the ADEA WA Branch, and has served on the Expert Advisory Group for the NDSS funded Diabetes and Intellectual Disability project.

Master's degree, 45 years old, worked for 22 years, and worked as the head nurse in the Internal Medicine Department of the Nursing Department of Beijing Hospital in China. Specialty: diabetes nursing, intravenous treatment nursing, tranquilization nursing, blood disease nursing, etc. Published over 20 core journals and 1 SCI article.

Sophie McGough is the General Manager for Innovation at Diabetes WA. Sophie has over 20 years experience in diabetes care in primary and community settings. She started her career as a credentialed diabetes educator and accredited practising dietitian, before moving into leadership and executive roles within Diabetes WA.

Chen Xiaochun is the Head Nurse of Endocrinology Department of Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Deputy Chief Nurse. She has been engaged in children's diabetes education and management for 24 years. The co-presenter, Dr. Guannan Bai is a clinical epidemiologist and associated research professor.
