Dr Shannon Lin, the Diabetes Course Director & Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), also dedicated her efforts to outreach diabetes clinics in Indigenous communities. She also collaborates extensively with Asian Pacifics and is identified as the most influential Australian diabetes professional in China. Shannon is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian and a Credential Diabetes Educator with 20 years of experience. Her contributions and clinical excellence have garnered several accolades, including multiple teaching and research excellence awards at UTS and the 2023 UTS Alumni Award. Shannon was awarded the National Credentialled Diabetes Educator of the Year 2023. Additionally, she serves as a Board Director for the Australian Diabetes Educators Association.
