Assoc Prof Martin de Bock is a Paediatric Endocrinologist in Christchurch, New Zealand. He trained in paediatric endocrinology in Auckland, New Zealand, where he gained his PhD. He then spent several years in Perth, Western Australia, where he developed his primary research focus on using diabetes technology to improve the lives of people with diabetes, and in particular using automated insulin delivery. His international service roles include contributions to international consensus statements and diabetes management guidelines, and also serves on the diabetes committee of the Australia New Zealand Paediatric Endocrine Society. He has over 100 international peer reviewed publications, including in lead journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine.

Chloe Currie is an Associate Professional Education Manager at AMSL a Dexcom Company, with a passion for Diabetes. After Graduating from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2014, and further study in a Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Diabetes Management and Education) in 2016 she has been working within the diabetes space as a Clinician. She has worked in a range of sectors and around the globe including the UK. Most recently focusing on technology and Diabetes and Pregnancy. Since joining AMSL in 2023 Chloe has delivered National Webinars, Conference Presentations and has helped clinics around Australia with her expertise in in Dexcom and Tandem Products. Chloe enjoys playing netball and tennis and looks forward to what the future Diabetes Tech space holds.
