Her research focuses on climate change adaptation and urban/disaster resilience, water resource management, sustainability and urbanisation in subtropical areas and coastal cities

Dr. Ven Paolo B. Valenzuela is a Research Fellow at Singapore Management University, specializing in climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in coastal urban areas across Asia-Pacific. His research explores land reclamation, resilience, and policy integration, bridging science and governance for sustainable adaptation strategies in vulnerable communities.

Camilo Riffo Quintana is a PhD candidate in Territorial Studies of the Global South at the University of Concepción and CR2 researcher. An architect and Master’s graduate from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, he is currently affiliated with Fundación Síntesis, researching relational urbanism and socio-ecological resilience in coastal cities.

Cass Philippou is leading the pilot Inverloch Regional and Strategic Partnership, which is delivering the Cape to Cape Resilience Project. Cass is a Project Manager in the Regional Coastal Adaptation and Planning team, and has been working in coastal management for DEECA since 2015.
