Biography

Ana Cristina Becerra Salas is a mountain ecosystems expert at UNEP. She used to work on climate adaptation projects in Latin-America. She is experienced in agroforestry and natural resources management research. She’s a forest engineer from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina and has a master’s in international development and policy from the University of Chicago.

She also worked as a project coordinator at the 2041 Foundation. Hasita holds a master’s degree in environmental management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
