Ángel Allendes is a sociologist with a master's degree in Applied Systemic Analysis of
Society from the University of Chile. Throughout his research career, he has worked on
key issues related to the impacts of climate change, including risk assessment, water
and energy security, as well as futures and innovation studies. His research interests
focus on sustainability transitions and the relationship between future and
transformation. Currently, he works as a manager in the Innovation Department at the
University of Chile, where he coordinates efforts related to anticipatory capacity and
innovation.
