Rachel as the founder of the Sustainable Business Network has played a critical role in advancing sustainable business for almost 20 years. She provides strategic sustainability advice to government agencies and businesses, ranging from large corporates to small enterprises. In 2018 she was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for service to sustainable business.

Abstract

Biography

Joya is an Associate Professor at the University of Canterbury and is passionate about sustainable, ethical and healthy consumption and production with a focus on behaviour, organisational and institutional change. Simon undertook his MBA at the University of Canterbury and was a recipient of the The Ben Gough Family Foundation Leaders Scholarship. He has a fervour for learning and leadership, and has had roles ranging from the Winter Base Leader at Antarctica New Zealand to United Nations PGS Regional Leader-Oceania. Dr. Rowan Dixon leads WSP NZ’s resilience and futures advisory, with deep experience in government and private policy and practice. Rowan holds a PhD in Political Ecology and a Masters in Planning, holding prior leadership roles at the Ministry for the Environment, the Dunedin City Council, and Fairtrade ANZ.
