Jon Barnett is Australian Research Council Laureate Professor in the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Melbourne University. He is a political geographer whose research investigates social impacts and responses to environmental change.
Russell Wise has 20 years’ experience leading applied R&D programmes in Australia and South Africa. His work has focused on understanding the social-ecological and political-economy dimensions of climate adaptation; enhancing sense- and decision-making approaches to better consider uncertainty and ambiguity in knowledge; and exploring innovative ways to increase investment into climate resilient development.

Dr Laurence Delina is a professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Senior Research Fellow at the Manila Observatory. His research focuses on just climate adaptation and resilience for vulnerable communities in rural and urban Asia, including rural Indigenous farmers and informal urban settlers. He has published extensively on the justice implications of this topic.
