Biography

Dr Andrew Old is an experienced senior leader and public health physician with a drive to make a meaningful contribution to improved health, wellbeing and equity for all New Zealanders. Dr Andrew Old currently serves as Deputy Director-General, Public Health Agency of the Ministry of Health, New Zealand. Kaeden Watts (Ngāti Tūwharetoa, Ngāti Maniapoto, Tūhoe) is an experienced policy analyst and climate advocate with expertise in climate change, public health, and te ao Māori. He currently serves as a Principal Policy analyst in the Public Health Agency, responsible for the implementation of the Health National Adaptation Plan.

Prof. Jacki Schirmer is the Director of the Centre for Environmental Governance, and Chair of the Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Research Network at the University of Canberra. Her work focuses on understanding how to support human wellbeing when experiencing changes in the natural environment, disasters and natural resource management.

Namita is a Senior Associate at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements. Her work focuses on the themes of social capital and climate change, and public spaces and the right to the city. Currently, she is investigating the linkages between social capital and climate change adaptation in Bengaluru.
