Professor of Environmental Sciences at UNESP (Brazil). PhD in Social Sciences. Research focuses on governance and planning, emphasizing environmental inequalities, just climate adaptation, and coastal cities.Research Fellow at the Earth System Governance Project and a member of the Climate and Water Task Force of the International Water Resources Association (IWRA).

Dr. Rasmussen is CEO Infinitum Humanitarian Systems, Research Professor in Environmental Security & Global Medicine at San Diego State University, instructor in disaster medicine at both the International Disaster Academy and Institute for Disaster Preparedness. He serves as Permanent Advisor to the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Expert Panel on Water Disasters.

Biography

Kirstin Kreyscher is an academic specialising in interdisciplinary research projects on disasters, climate change, and sustainable development. She recently completed her PhD at Deakin University and currently works with the Climate Change Adaptation Lab at La Trobe University and as an Associate Teaching Fellow with Deakin University.

Biography

Cilla is of Samoan, Asian, European descent, and resides in Auckland. She is an Arts Manager, Choreographer, Environmental Educator and Researcher focusing on climate change adaptation and community engagement. Cilla leads initiatives at Pacific Dance NZ, teaches Samoan Siva to young girls, and integrates cultural education with environmental awareness.
