Ariane Bray is a final year PhD candidate at the University of Otago, School of Geography.

Monique works with Councils across New Zealand to support communities in adapting to the impacts of climate change. She works closely with technical experts and local communities, bridging the gap between complex technical information and user comprehension. This enables communities to find innovative solutions tailored to their unique situations.

Alison is a social scientist and environmental lawyer with expertise in place-based development, path dependency and building community resilience during periods of transitions and adaptation. At Urban Intelligence, Alison supports local governments and communities to integrate evidence-based decisions into their climate adaptation programs.

A/Prof Nalau is an adaptation scientist who is curious about the human nature and its ability to adapt as we navigate often through challenging decisions. Her research focuses on adaptation heuristics that are rules of thumb on how we can, could or should adapt to the impacts of climate change.
