Biography

Matt is a climate change adaptation and environmental professional with over 15 years of industry and government experience covering climate adaptation, risk and resilience. Matt is the Regional Director for PEERS Oceania, and is currently working as a technical advisor on a number of adaptation planning projects across New Zealand.

Biography

James Duggie has helped lead the Western Australian State Government's climate adaptation program, and jurisdictional representative in adaptation national fora for 16 years. He coordinated development of the WA Climate Adaptation Strategy (2023), and is supporting its implementation and evaluation. He has been designing change management processes for 25 years.

Biography

Nina Rogers is a human geographer, social researcher, and experienced climate policy professional with a keen interest in climate adaptation governance at the sub-national level. In 2024 Nina completed her PhD with the University of Tasmania, examining leadership for enhanced municipal climate change adaptation. Nina is also a Churchill Fellow.

Biography

Alivony Ravelomanantsoa is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Natural Resources Manangment and Development, Univeristy of Antananarivo. Her research focuses on the role of green infrastructure in increasing the resilience of urban informal settlement residents in Antananarivo, Madagascar. She has interests in climate green solutions and community well-being.

Biography

Ali is currently the Sustainability Coordinator at ARC Projects; an Aus/NZ insurance builder. She historically worked as an adaptation consultant with Loop and Co and Net Balance and was a Research Assistant at RMIT with ACCARNSI. Her PhD focusses on adaptation in the built environment.
