He served as Independent Specialist Advisor to the Finance and Expenditure Committee’s Inquiry into Climate Adaptation; Contributing Author to IPCC AR6 WG2; and teaches climate action at AUT.

She has worked with UNIDO on industrial ecology, resource efficiency, and sustainable industrial development. In New Zealand, she has led environmental sustainability and decarbonization workstreams. She is currently pursuing a master’s in international development and planning at the University of Otago.

Melinda Morris is a Senior Research Consultant at Climate-KIC within the Institute for Sustainable Futures working on climate change adaptation and resilience. She brings her experience in co-design processes and collaboration practice to deliver large, multi-stakeholder projects that take place-based, systems approaches to build resilience and adapt to climate change.
