Biography

Timothy Carter is a UK-trained geographer, who also spent time at IIASA, Austria before moving to Finland. His research focuses on impact modelling, assessment methods, scenarios, cross-border impacts, and adaptation. A Lead Author in the first five IPCC Assessments, he also served in the IPCC Data and Scenarios Task Group.

Luísa has an MSc in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Portugal and is currently pursuing her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury. Her research focuses on the expansion of cropland area during a sun-obscuring and production of leaf protein concentrate during a catastrophe.
