Biography

Luísa has an MSc in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Portugal and is currently pursuing her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury. Her research focuses on the expansion of cropland area during a sun-obscuring and production of leaf protein concentrate during a catastrophe.

Biography

Jeet has deep experience in public policy, having worked in the public sector for a number of years. He has also worked in consulting and advocacy roles in the private sector, most recently in energy. Jeet came across complexity science while studying climate change science and policy, and has built frameworks informed by complexity and his experiences working in complex systems.

His interest lies in sustainable transitions and transformation. He currently coordinates efforts to build anticipatory capacity at the University of Chile.
