Viliame is excited about sharing the expertise of Small Islands and Developing States (SIDs)-produced solutions and leveraging scientifically verified traditional wisdom to build resilience in the Pacific region.

Assoc Prof Barnes is an academic working on social networks, climate adaptation, and the relationships between people and nature that underpin, and are impacted by, environmental change. Her current research focuses on adaptation and sustainability interventions in coastal communities; with study sites in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Kenya.

Viga has more than 5 years of experience in conservation, fisheries, aquaculture, and marine resource management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries, specializing in fishing management and technology, from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia, followed by a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, specializing in marine governance from Wageningen University, the Netherlands.

Hanggar Prasetio has 13 years of experience working in coastal and marine natural resource conservation, spatial planning, blue carbon ecosystem research, and Nature-based Solutions. He has worked as a Ridge to Reef and GIS Coordinator at Konservasi Indonesia for 3 years.

Dr. Jane Symonds is a Senior Scientist and Team Leader of Finfish and Genetics at the Cawthron Institute, Nelson, New Zealand. She has over 30 years of experience in aquaculture breeding and genetics and has worked on multiple finfish and shellfish selective breeding programmes in New Zealand, Canada and Australia.

Fiona Chong is the project co-ordinator and post-doctoral researcher on the CLARE (CLimate Adaptation & Resilience) funded ClimateREEFS project.
